Mi vere amas "La aventuroj De Alicio en Mirlando". Mi pensas ke estas la plej bona libro en la mondo por infanoj, kaj ankaŭ kiel plenkreskulo mi ŝatas tion multe. Mi scias ke la libro este iomete stranga sed mi vere ŝatas tion. Libroj devas esti strangaj. Kaj la pensoj estas multege amuzaj!

Mia edzino legis la anglan eldonon al nia infanoj kaj ili tute ĝuis ĝin. Tamen, mi multe preferas librojn kiel "La Grafo de Monte Kristo". Ĝi estas mia plej ŝatata romano iam ajn. Do, mi legos ĝin ĉe la fino de la vico, kiam mi multe pli komprenos kaj ĝuos ĝin. Mi ankaŭ ŝatus trovi traduko de "Crime and Punishment".

Mi ne certas ke "Crime and Punishment" estis tradukata iam ajn en la esperanta, sed ankaŭ mi ŝatas legi ĝin. La problemo estas ke tia libro estas en la rusa, kaj mi preferus legi ĝin en la rusa.

Mi havas la libron en la rusa, sed mi ankoraŭ lernas (ĝisnune nur kelkaj rusaj frazoj). La libro ekzistas: #28 ... mi ŝatus legi kaj kompari al la angla traduko, kaj mi ankaŭ volus havi la tutan serion. Mi legas, ke ofte esperantaj tradukoj estas pli bonaj ol aliaj. Mi eltrovos per Monte Kristo.

I finished "Amuza Legolibro En Esperanto" today. I have been reading it for quite some time, but just a few pages at a time. The book is 100 short, yet quite funny, stories and it does a pretty good job teaching new vocabulary through context along the way. It has a series of questions after each story and they do a good job answering each in a few different ways when the vocabulary might be tough. I really enjoyed it and found myself laughing out loud at the absurdity of the stories several times. Most are based around kids and their interactions with each other, their parents, and instructors.

One of the craziest things with this book was that I quite frequently seemed to encounter new words which I had just learned while reading the book. For example, one morning, at breakfast, my youngest asked me how to say "roll" in Esperanto (the food item, not the action) ... so, we grabbed the dictionary and found it was "bulko". That same evening, the story I was reading was about a worker who wanted a kid to go get him some rolls from the bakery. I was quite excited to have my new vocab reinforced so quickly.

Mi finis la libron "Fajron Sentas Mi Interne". La teksto ne estis tre malfacile, sed la temo estis tre enua por mi. La ĉeffiguro en la rakonto ne kapablis fari ion ajn. Li plendis kaj plendis la tutan rakonton. Li estis plenkreskulo, sed agis kiel 12a jara infano, aŭ malpli ol tio. Li estis kompatinda karaktro, sed mi nur volis krii lin. Cetere, la rakonto ŝajnis tute ne havi celon.

I finished the book "Fajron Sentas Mi Interne". The text wasn't very difficult, but the theme was very boring for me. The main character in the story wasn't capable of doing anything at all. He complained and complained the entire story. He was an adult, but acted like a 12 year old child, or less than that. He was pitiful, but I only wanted to yell at him. What's more, the story seemed to have no point.

Okay, that little mini review took me much longer than I would have liked to write down. But, I figure it is good practice. I thought about writing something more thorough, but I don't think the story is worth much more thought than I have already given it. Anyways, onto the next book ...
