I like to think of it as something my parents and grandparents paid for, that I get to enjoy now. :) (They were American taxpayers at the time the FSI was making these materials. At least, I'm assuming it was funded with taxes if you trace the money?)

Does anyone know what changed, that no new FSI or DLI materials have been released publicly? I'm sure they've updated them for their own use...

Most of their modern stuff is online content less transferable in form than these old courses.

I'll definitely review it.

I just registered my account here, because I wanted to say that I have that Mandarin trainer, too. It is quite good. I like Anki and this trainer has a lot of content.
The only thing is now I see that I seem to have lost it on my computer and the downloads have run out. Can you please give me the exact name of the archive that is downloadable so that I can do a search on my computer and find it? I'm sure I have it somewhere. Thanks!

If anyone wants a Hindi minimal-pairs trainers for free, look no further:

Use the "test" function to practice minimal pairs. It's ostensibly teaching you the Devanagari script, but it is also functioning brilliantly as a minimal pairs trainer. I don't think you could do better.

IIRC, the first part of FSI Basic Spanish is also a minimal pairs pronunciation trainer.
