Two sites I could order from internationally without any issues:

Dutch
bol.com (in Dutch)

Swedish:
Bokus (English language version)

Just a note or two about powells. Their search engine is various forms of awful but if you search with an isbn it should be fine. Also they ship almost anywhere in the world and if a book is still in print but not in their inventory they'll order it if you ask.

Spanish Retail Book Stores

http://www.gandhi.com.mx/ (Librería Gandhi - Mexico)
-- Including eBooks and books for Kobo
-- What looks like a dollar symbol is not; it is a symbol for the Mexican peso.
http://www.lsf.com.ar/ (Librería Santa Fe - Argentina)
-- Include eBooks = libros digitales
-- Again, what looks like a dollar symbol is in fact a symbol for the Argentine peso.

I'm sure you all know you can check the current rate of exchange on line.

Shipping and handling charges outside of Mexico or Argentina will be expensive, so best order several books at once.

Irish:

litriocht.com

cic.ie

leabharbreac.com

siopagaeilge.ie

http://www.cnagsiopa.com/index.php

There's certainly more as well, but I find pretty much everything I need/want on the first three. The first one especially is really good.

To buy cheap second hand russian paper books, I use momox (it's a german online bookstore). They also have a lot of french and german books. I don't use their website, I use their market place on amazon: to find books, you have to type russian titles in romanisation. I also use Ozon.ru and it's working remarkably well (but it's very long, almost one month to receive your books and the shipping costs can be very high: I buy the books one by one, it's cheaper)
If you live in France, you know Priceminister and le bon coin, a lot of second hand books, too.

Italian
http://www.mondadoristore.it/

I've ordered from them multiple times. They have a 29 euro flat rate "world" shipping which is much better than amazon.it if you buy more than a few DVDs and/or books.

I wouldn't recommend Schonehofs unless they have books you can't find elsewhere. I ordered from them once a long time ago before I found the Italian bookstores online. Their markup is ludicrous.
