Reference Grammar Network
Slavic, Romanian, Georgian, Chechen...
"This set of reference grammars has been designed for advanced-level language users and linguists to compare semantic categories across languages. Each grammar also provides background information about the language and its speakers. In some cases the author has included a topic which provides greater illumination of the language (e.g. tongue twisters, slang/profanity, or a set of exemplary texts). These sections are indicated by a shaded background in the left-side navigation pane.
Please note that some of the grammars are very large, in particular Romanian and Georgian, and are best accessed through a high speed connection."

Re: Language tools
Learning with Texts (LWT) is a good suggestion. It's an interesting question whether LWT counts as parallel texts. Originally, it provided a convenient way to look up vocabulary and a nifty way to recall forgotten meanings. As such, not parallel texts. Currently, it provides a function for creating interlinear texts, too. Besides interlinear, it can be set to insert meanings before or after text (the name of the Russian who started or at least uses this system escapes me). We need a new term to cover both parallel texts and interlinear texts, perhaps.

Re: Language tools
No.
Parallel texts involve two versions of the text that are valid texts in their respective language. LWT does interlinear glossing, giving translations at the word and/or phrase level, but the resulting "translation" is not a well-formed, grammatically valid text in the L1.

Curiosity sent me to your web page to give it a try. The requirement to come up with yet one more password and login just to try something I might not want drove me away right quick. No offense.
