I made it alive and successful navigated here totally in English. But I finally met Cristina. Lovely and gracious! More North Americans here than I expected.

Took too long to settle on a place to have dinner, so I'm running a bit late, but I'll be joining you soon. :D

Lydia also spoke at the Esperanto conference in Nitra earlier this year - the subject was how to teach languages. The speech may be online somewhere, but I'm somewhat short of time and can't spend time on searching.

She claimed that she only had been learning Esperanto for a few months, but got through the speech with no problems whatsoever.

There are rumours this year's gathering is going to be in Bratislava - is this true? Is anything more known about it, like the date?

True - Judtih Meyer herself told me about it in Thessaloniki, and she should know...
