Childrens tv
I don't like watching children's tv, but I've used the following without too much pain:
Pocoyo
Backyardigans
Guillermina y Candelario
My favorite kid's show is "Aventuras Animales", which is like an Animal Planet show. Lots of video clips and factoids about animals. Three multiple choice questions in every half-hour episode, plus the questions are repeated again at the end of the episode. All that repetition means you won't get lost. If you can follow Destinos, you should have no trouble following this one, and animals are inherently fun to watch and learn about.
Adult tv
I prefer news shows and documentaries, because they're more interesting and feature clearer language. "Aquí y Ahora" and "Al Punto" are both good "60 Minutes" type programs. I can only follow 30-60% of the language right now, but it's enough to keep me engaged. Also, the good thing about news programs is that they tend to have written graphics that clue me in if I didn't follow the spoken language.

La serie animada "Erase una vez... el hombre" es muy divertida. Cada episodio es un documental sobre un momento importante de la historia.
La serie documental "Free to Choose", protagonizado por Milton Friedman, es disponible con doblaje español acá.
