Italiano :
Oggi, ho cominciato a leggere Il principe lui stesso. Era... OK. In generale, potevo comprenderlo abbastanza bene.

Latin :
I finished Book II of De Monarchia : the last two chapters were short enough that I probably could have lead then yesterday had I realized how short they were.

Ukrainian :
I continued reading lesson 4 of the Teach Yourself course, which introduced the genitive case.

Latin :
I started book III of De Monarchia. This chapter is, so far, not too difficult.

Ukrainian :
I finished lesson 4 of the Teach Yourself course. I was honestly rather disappointed in this lesson, as it had but one dialogue and few and poor exercises.

Domani, io comincerò i Discorsi.

What's your opinion on Teach yourself Ukrainian? Even though it is kind of hard to buy TY books, I am curious.

I am not quite finished with all my courses and finals, but most of them are done, which is quite nice, since I now have time for doing things again.

As far as Ukrainian resources in English go, it is probably one of the better ones. I should add, I have an older edition, which can be found online for much less than the newest.

Ukrainian :
I decided to review the Teach Yourself course, so I re-read the dialogues from the first two lessons today.

Latin :
I finished De Monarchia. I very much enjoy Dante's writing style in Latin. To be honest, I had forgotten how pleasant reading Mediaeval literature is. I also read the "Moretum" by Pseudo-Virgil as part of the Appendix Virgiliana. I can say with certinty that it was not written by Virgil, as it is vastly inferior to anything he actually wrote. That said, the poem has some historical interest, since it is about a moretum, a particular Roman food which seems sort of like pesto mixed with cream cheese. It honestly sounds tasty.

A train got cancelled yesterday meaning I had to spend about an extra hour and a half getting back from liturgy. Most annoying. As a result, not much got done yesterday.

Ukrainian :
I reviewed chapter 3 today, which was not hard the first time and even less so the second.

Latin :
I found an interesting papal encyclical from the 1920s about Dante, which I attempted to read. Unfortunately, the Latin text even on the official Vatican website was terribly formatted and, as a result, there were some sections where I had very little idea what was happening.

Català :
Avui, jo vaig fer els lliçons 75 i 76 deu curs Assimil. Ara he fet tres quarts del llibre.

Ukrainian :
I reread lesson 4 of the Teach Yourself book today, catching up to where I was before.

Latin :
I had to teach my Latin class today as part of my grade, which went well, although I did not really enjoy it.

Ukrainian :
I started Teach Yourself chapter 5 today : the dialogue was relatively long and I learned some new, travel-related words. I am not sure how useful that would be, but I suppose I ought to learn them sooner or later.

Català :
Avui vaig fer les lliçons 79 i 80 del llibre Assimil. Jo quasi l'he terminat!

Last day of classes today! I still have a final project to finish tomorrow, but other than that, I am free. Tomorrow I meet with my advisor to plan next-term's courses.

Avui, vaig fer les lliçons 80 i 81 del curs Assimil.

Greek :
I had my last Greek "lesson" of the term today. I am certainly glad that is over. I believe I shall have to endure another term of this, but then I will be free. I am honestly strongly considering just dropping Greek after this academic year ends since my knowledge of it has definitely worsened during this term, and, if it continues to do so at the same pace next term, I will probably be about where I was at the start of my Modern Greek courses last year : ie, knowing the alphabet, a little basic grammar and a smattering of words but not much more.

Ukrainian :
More of lesson 5 of the Teach Yourself course today.

Greek :
I had a small writing assignment of a couple paragraphs to do for my Greek class. It was, honestly, harder than I thought it would be. I like Greek, I suppose, but I very much do not like my class an I do not like the textbook much. With a good teacher it was OK, with a bad teacher it has been quite bad and it is unusable for self-study.

Ukrainian :
I continued working through lesson 5 of the Teach Yourself book today.

Català :
Avui, jo vaig fer les lliçons 83 i 84 del curs Assimil.
