Hello

My name is Frank and I am language lover turned language teacher. I had an account on how-to-learn-any-language.com and though i never posted anything, I read over a decade's worth of posts by other people. I used the information to help develop my own products and I am indebted to everyone who contributed to the forum.

May the love of languages and language innovation continue!

Hello, I'm threeeighteen. I'm 27 and from Australia. Hola, soy threeeighteen. Tengo veintisiete años y soy de Australia.

I've been learning Spanish since mid-December last year, mostly just using Duolingo. I've also been messing about with Italian and German in the side.

Hello everyone. I'm an American who is currently living in Croatia at the moment. I love languages and I'm hoping to make more progress in at least Croatian, German, and Spanish over the next year.

Good evening.
I'm Anna from Germany.
I am 26 years old and I have two little children.
Since school I am fascinated by languages.
So I tried to learn English, Spanish, Chinese and French. But I wasn't good at learning, so I stopped learning languages.
Now I am starting again. With new tools, and more motivation.
The last years I used the parental break to improve my English. With reading and listening I am now at a B2 level. But my writing and speaking is very bad, so please excuse my mistakes.
And I learn Dutch now. Because I need only two ours by train to arrive in Netherlands.

I hope I will have a great time in this forum.
Best wishes.
Anna

Hello, my name is Aro and I am a native Polish speaker. I am interested in history of languages and linguistics in general. I speak English, French and Italian (these are maintenance languages) and I'm learning German and Romanian. Next, I would love to take on Slavic languages because I've always been fascinated by the similarities between these languages.
I've been visiting this site for many months now (as well as HTLAL) and discovered a lot of inspiring threads and logs that helped me modify my learning methods (I'm self-studying). I'm going to start my own log to keep track of my progress and the different methods/resources I use.
If you need help with your Polish, just let me know and I'll do my best to help you with corrections/explanations.

Hi everyone, my name is Daisy. I live in the USA and am a native speaker of English and fluent in Russian. Last year I started to learn Mandarin. I find it pretty hard but cool sounding :)
