HOUSEKEEPING ACTIVITY
With a view to liberating space for an eventual expansion of the list of Malay resources at the top of this discussion thread, I have (a) replaced the space directly above by a note (Reserved) and (b) have transferred the previous contents of the post above into this space. Here are the contents of the previous post:
Linguaphone Malay
As mentioned in the introduction, there is presently an offer on eBay for what-appears-to-be a pristine copy of the Linguaphone Malay course. Yes, even though I have absolute no relation to the seller of this item, I really did create this file out of my enthusiasm for this vintage course!
Linguaphone Cassette tapes Malay - eBayUK

In the period from the 1950’s through the 1970’s, the Linguaphone catalogue included a Malay course; that is, one separate from their Indonesian course. Materials included a Course Manual, a Handbook, and 4 audio cassettes (see image above). Recently, Linguaphone U.K. has begun offering copies of their legacy courses subject to inquiry, presumably in PDF/MP3 format, going as far back as the 1950’s.
