I have bought a ticket, and I do plan to attend. There is a small chance I can't do it because of work, but if everything works out then yes I'm going. :)

aaand it's postponed until May 2021... though apparently there'll be some online gathering from 29th until 31st of May this year. Here's hoping it'll be a nice experience, too.

Wonder if they are giving refunds?

They're sending out personalized messages to people who have registered with two options: 70% refund or registration for both the online event and next year's Gathering with no additional payment.

It looks like the Polyglot Gathering is moving full steam ahead with their online version this year. There are nearly 800 people registered to attend! It is just a couple of weeks away now.

I don't know that I qualify as a polyglot but they say it is for language enthusiasts too. So, I registered and am looking forward to hearing some of the talks, participating in the activities, and seeing how the online experience goes. I wouldn't have been able to go to the in person conference but now that is online I can.

Who else is registered?

I thought about registering for the online gathering but realized the time zone wouldn't work out very well for me. Oh well ... maybe some year I will actually attend.
