Re: 6 Week Challenge Winners (2011-2019)

Teango wrote:Here's a link to the last snapshot of the 6 Week Challenge: How to... web page (Wayback Machine archive, 10 March 2019).

How did that thread not come up? I searched this way:

6WC site:https://forum.language-learners.org

I went back to 2017.

I'll never understand the internet.

Thanks @Teango!

Please, how to register for this 6wc? Is it the same thing as for the previous bots?
I've tried the links on the old bot's page and they seem to lead somewhere else now.

It doesn’t seem to work anymore. February was the last time it worked. Hence the need to build a new 6WC bot.

For Developers. This thread contains information about how the original Bot worked. (You may need to go to the last page where there is a link to the WayBack Machine)

Which link do you mean?
The one with the explanation is the same that smallwhite posted, Teango just found an archived version (it now redirects to the esperanto thing).
The other thread was on the old forum.

Have you tried the one that smallwhite posted? It does NOT take you to anything about the 6WC! When you hover over the link, it shows this as the URL: 6wc.learnlangs.com, but when you click on it, it redirects to: https://esperanto.berlin/

Maybe that URL worked in the past, but it does not now!

You have to use the link he posted to the "WayBack Machine" so that you get the backup of the website. Otherwise it will take you to the replacement. You should see something starting with https://web.archive.org/

Thanks, I understand that. I was simply pointing out to Serpent that smallwhite's link is broken.

I know :P I was mostly pointing out that the page was never hosted on this forum (which is why it didn't show up in your search), and that Teango found an archived version of that page. My post literally mentioned that now it redirects to the esperanto thing
