There's a deal on a bundle of FIGS stuff from the for dummies range over at Humble Bundle. A set of ebooks with audio, all 4 languages for $15.

Never used for Dummies myself, no idea what they're like.

Many thanks Cainntear, I've just purchased the $15 US ($19 Canadian loonie) set - crazy amount of material across the four languages! Offer still on for another six days.

I expect many forum members would consider the [language] for Dummies series to be pretty lightweight, but I really like them because they are fun and that is why I learn languages, though the Ithkuil for Dummies is super-challenging.

For those members who might be avid collectors of vintage language-learning materials, there is an offer on eBay for a complete set of the Cortina Brazilian-Portuguese course and some other materials. As a reminder, digitized copies of the course are freely-available via the Yojik.eu website. Accordingly, this offer would be of most interest to collectors.

Anybody knows where the best place to post this?
I am wondering if I should make it into the forum topic instead. I am asking, because I want to trade a language learning key?

There's a deal on a bundle of FIGS stuff from the for dummies range over at Humble Bundle. A set of ebooks with audio, all 4 languages for $15.

Before this Bundle that I, as a shopaholic, bought, too, there was a Bundle with Transparent language learning keys
https://www.humblebundle.com/software/l ... e-software

I have Spanish key that equals three months of learning Spanish on the platform. I also have keys for French and German
I want to swap it to some other language. Could be: French, Polish, Italian.
If you are unfamiliar with the platform, like I am, sort of, then there is a 14-day free trial there! https://transparent.com
I tried with Chinese and it was fine.

So I was wondering if anybody has unused Transparent language key for French, Italian or Polish AND is willing to exchange their key for Spanish or German or French with me.
NOTE: Language code must be redeemed by 3/20/2020.

It is also fine if somebody has something from another platform, just so it is for three months of learning and the trader content with the swap.

I hope I am not breaking any rules with this post :D

Benny Lewis will be posting links to Black Friday language discounts starting on Monday. He says that he has totally new ones this year, so it might be interesting to check out.

I don't know if they'll be available on his blog or not, but if interested, go an add your email address today and hopefully you'll be on the list for Monday.

Collectors of Vintage Language-Learning Materials ALERT!
There is presently an offer on eBayUK for a complete set of the 1960’s-era Odhams Master French Language Course. From the photographs, the materials are complete; however, I note the absence of the storage box. As I already have a copy, I won’t be bidding in this auction. Nevertheless, I would be dumfounded were this item not pass into the hands of a fellow forum member. Interested parties are invited to refer to the links below.
