People can suggest and vote for what they want (and if it takes longer for us all to read it, that’s the benefit of it being a forum! But yes, I am a little nervous about it!

I voted for La sombre del viento. I hope it's doable for me. It seems daunting: Over 500 pages and I just read someone's comment on Amazon that the book isn't an easy read. I should start now to get a headstart, but I'm still stuck in a Dan Brown novel.

For Book Club purposes, I'd probably only recommend the first book of Don Quijote - about 450 to 500 pages. It's still a lot, though.

I also chose L'ombra del vento. I don't usually like translations from English to Italian but it might not be so bad from Spanish to Italian.
