Hello,
I used to post years ago on the HTLAL forums and just found this new place. Glad to be here.
I’m a US physician practicing in a location with a large number of Spanish speakers and out of necessity (and enjoyment) I learned Spanish. I’ve traveled and practiced some medicine with underserved people in Mexico and Honduras. My language learning was fun and I’ve dabbled with other languages as a hobby.
I have an opportunity to work in northern Uganda this summer with the Acholi people and I’m interested in learning as much of their language as possible. Acholi is a southern Luo language and I’m looking for resources if anyone knows any that are available. I’ve found some FSI and Peace Corps material online but I cannot seem to find audio files to go along with them.
I know this is an obscure language but if anyone has any insight or recommendation for language learning materials or strategies for the Acholi language please share what you can. Thank you.

You're not a C1 (or B1 or whatever) if you haven't tested.
