If I hadn't been able to travel at all, probably I would not have learned as many languages and would have stuck to one or two.
Now, even if I could never travel again
, I'd probably spend a lot of time learning, it's in my habit and interest. And s someone who travels, it's not clear I'll ever make it to primary countries of all my current study languages - I'm now studying languages for reasons beyond travel - it's the challenge, complexity, perceived beauty, culture or literature that make me want to learn a language more than travel itself.
And I currently go to places where my interest in learning the language is low or non-existent.
