The bot isn't taking my tweet... @6WCBot #Spanish 191 minutes
Now, it has accepted all the other tweets so far, so I don't think I'm doing anything wrong. But it irritates me not to get 3 hours counted.

It didn't take your recent 60 mins of Spanish either. Tweets that are taken have a "1" next to the speech balloon. Try adding a few English words to your tweets, using different words each time. Seems our bot is getting bored. Told you bots are turning into human.

More like twitter protecting the bot from responses that are too repetitive

Hi! This looks fun! Is this challenge still open for registration? Can I be part of the challenge if I don't use Twitter?

Yes, it's still open. Officially twitter is not obligatory but nowadays it's extremely uncommon to just track your results offline. But you can post them here.
Lots of learners use twitter only for the challenge bots. (but it can also be used to get small chunks of your L2 )

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - May 2018
Thanks! A couple months ago I permanently deleted of all my social media accounts, so I'd rather just track offline. I assume that I track the amount of time (in minutes) that I spend actively engaged in studying and consuming my TL?
I am signing up for French. My resources are Assimil French (With Ease Series), Easy French Step-by-Step (a beginning grammar guide), Coffee Break French, occasional use of DLI Headstart for Belgium, and a couple other random resources when time/skill/motivation permits. I'm tracking my time starting today.

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - May 2018
My best 5 days so far I'm not even tracking background listening anymore, so that's all real work up there, and 99%+ intensive. I'm seeing significant improvement every day and it's really exciting. I'm glad I'm willing to do what works.

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - May 2018
It's absolutely wild seeing the numbers at the top there. I'm just doing what someone else said, trying to catch the person ahead of me.
Actually these last two months of tracking my focus language time day-by-day have really been eye opening. I'm not tracking all language time because being in a multilingual environment and constantly switching languages makes that difficult. Maybe in the future I'll track two or three focus languages at once.
I figured I was the type to be able to throw four or five hours a day at intensive study, and I know I've done it in the past, but these days there's always some other obligation to get in the middle of the flow. 45 minutes a day of intensive Cantonese plus my other active languages still makes me happy
