An area with study groups for various languages. Group members help each other, share resources and experience. Study groups are permanent but the members rotate and change.

La januara Sumoo (la 56-a) komenciĝis hieraŭ kaj daŭras al la 27-a. Ĉu vi partoprenas? Ĉi-foje mi legas la sekcion de rakontoj en la libro Fundamenta Krestomatio. La unua rakonto estas Nokto, pri la laboroj de Kristoforo Kolumbo.

Kiun libron vi legas por la Sumoo?

For those new to Esperanto, UEA has launched an easy version of its website called UEA.facila. At first glance, it looks like a nice source for easy to medium difficulty articles in the international language.

It's all supposed to be easy :)

We deliberately try to use only words from our wordlist. When an article contains a word which isn't on it, we post definitions, some of which you find by hovering, others of which are shown with images at the bottom of the article.

I think my favourite feature is that we've added recordings to some of the articles, so that you can hear what the text should sound like.

I set up a Twitter account for it yesterday, so if you've got one, why not give it a follow?

Mi eklernis hodiaŭ ke la landa kongreso (usona KAJ kanada!) okazos en Bostono, Masaĉuseco. Finfine, mi estas en la ĝusta loko ĉe la ĝusta tempo!

La kongreso okazos de 14-a al 17-a junio. Ĉu vi partoprenos??

Mi ne partoprenas la Sumoon, ĉar mi ne emas legi en Esperanto nuntempe, sed mi legis (kaj ĝuis) tiun libron antaŭ kelkaj jaroj :)
