? It's a list of roots, and words based on those roots, with example sentences. There's always the instinct to stick them in Anki and work my way through them, but I don't know how to organise the cards effectively. I want to get a deep appreciation for the links between words via their roots, but also focus my studying on the most important words first, rather than taking a scatter-gun approach and learning all entries indiscriminately. Does anyone have experience in using such bare reference lists?
i downloaded this book free. if anybody need i can share.
Im interested !

I have got that book in its paper version and paid good money for it, but I don't like it. It does have example sentences with translations, and that's fine, but it lacks elementary information about the words it quotes - like whether a verb is perfective or imperfective and things like that.

That book is a good reference, but that's about it.
A good book for "root" studying, if you can find them, is the
когда не помогают словари series.
Lots of exercises and explanations, all in Russian. There's 3 parts. If you can find them, they're worth the money. Actually, all the
Серия «Русский язык как иностранный (Флинта)» are worth the money.

Hi!
I've had the crazy idea of attempting a TRKI exam this summer, so thought I'd join the group for some motivation and support. I'm a false beginner and I'm starting back with Assimil Russian, picking up roughly from where I left off last time. There doesn't seem to be much on the internet in terms of exam content or other peoples' experiences, but hopefully that won't be too much of a hindrance!

Exciting, I’ll be interested to hear your experience!

Родной язык -русский. Английский слабовато. Учусь, но мало практики. Помогу с русским в обмен на практику с английским. Телефон, воцап, телеграмм, даже вичат есть. Пишите в личку. Владимир
My native language is Russian. I know English badly. I have a small practice. I help you study Russian if you help me improve pronunciation. I have a phone, whatsApp, telegramm and WeChat. Write private messages. I live in county Lancashire. Vladimir
