Here is an article on the adverbs hin and her:
https://www.thegermanprofessor.com/hin-or-her/

- hin generally indicates movement in a direction away from the speaker toward a particular destination.
- her generally indicates movement from a point of origin in a direction toward the speaker.

Der süße Brei

Morgen, 12:00 Uhr 17.10.2020

I'm looking for a book about German that I hope exists.

To explain--In Spanish, I have two books that are not textbooks, but more books about Spanish. One is called Speed Up Your Spanish (Amazon link below) that talks about word choices, has a whole page on the various uses of caer, etc., and is the kind of book that you take with you and read bits and pieces. The other book, that I can't find right now, dedicates entire (short) chapters to various words and concepts.

I'm trying to find something like that for German. There is a "Speed Up Your German" book that, sadly, is nothing like the Spanish one and is mostly just a grammar review. Right now I'm looking through "101 Pitfalls in German" which is good, but not as in depth as the Spanish books.

Has anyone seen any books like this? I'm currently in the A1/A2 range.
