A few days before the vote, the "bulletins de vote" are sent by mail to each voter, together with the candidates' "professions de foi".
The "bulletins" are also displayed in neat little piles on a table inside the polling station, together with enveloppes (new "bulletins" are regularly added to keep the piles rather even, so that voters are not influenced). You are supposed to take at least two of them, so that your vote remains secret, and one enveloppe. Then you enter the voting booth, put the "bulletin" into the enveloppe and exit the booth. There is a trash can in the booth were you can discard the "bulletins" you didn't use (these are supposed to be emptied regularly, so that voters are not influenced).
You give your "carte d'électeur" and your identity card/passport to the first "assesseur". They check and if everything is fine, you are allowed to put your vote into the "urne". The assesseur says "A voté !" and you are then allowed to proceed to the second "assesseur", on the other side of the "urne", to sign the register.

Bonus: some of the bulletins I got last week and kept as scrap paper:
Thanks for that :-)

In the UK we just get a list of names, with party logos where appropriate, and put an X next to the candidate we support. Then you fold your ballot paper, and put it into the ballot box.

I'm confused by the following sentence:
Je sais que vous êtes attendu après derrière
what does "après derrière" mean here?

quote from YouTube (4m35s into video).

It could point to physical location, meaning that she has something to do "at the back" (backstage, off camera,...) after the interview.
I guess it could also be understood as reinforcing "après", expressing the same idea of location in time. If so, I find it slightly unusual and not too elegant but maybe that's just me.

If I'm not mistaken the locution/expression in that sentence is 'attendre après'. It seems to me he's saying she's been made to wait a while behind the scenes/set before the interview?
And if not, then that she is expected there afterwards.

French clothes shop chain?

YouTube's auto subtitles seem to have failed on what I think is the name of a retail chain, YouTube's suggestion is "aras", can you suggest a name?

... parce que on a des aras et des H&M dans chaque rue de chaque ville de France et de Navarre

Azrayen' by F. Giroud and Chr. Lax (vol. 1 1998, vol. 2 1999, intégrale 2004).

A 'bédé' I read recently and found interesting enough. I especially liked the drawing style and the colours.
The action takes place in 1957 during the Algerian war. The reader follows Capt. Valera on his search for Lt. Messonier, who has vanished during a mission in Kabylia, together with the 22 men of his section.
Spread over two volumes (and several Kabyle villages), the story sometimes lingers on a bit but I rather liked it overall. In contrast, the end of the Takhlit story arc seemed a bit rushed though.
Some of the dialogue is in Berber (usually with French translation below) and there is a sizeable 'dossier' at the end of vol. 2, documenting the genesis of the work.

Hello everyone!

I’m currently in the process of relearning French. About five years ago, I studied French for 3-4 months at a local language school, but I’ve forgotten most of it over the years. Now, I’m aiming to quickly regain my skills and reach a B2 level.

To improve my speaking ability, I’m looking for a language partner to practice French conversation with for 15-30 minutes each day. If you’re also learning French or already at a certain level and would like to practice together, please feel free to reach out!

Thank you for your help, and I look forward to learning together!
