Tom Gosse was kind And patient enough to get me up and running with the US-Intl keyboard, for which I will be eternally grateful. As a result of that I am corresponding currently with a French teacher who teaches French literature and who lives in France. For a person at my level of A2-B1 this is very fortunate however I do find it very useful to use bonpatron http://bonpatron.com/ to check my grammar.

Are there any other websites that do what bonpatron does which is to correct grammar and explain why? I find it incredibly helpful.

Also, a heads up to all those people who may not know it, but after having written a document in French, if in my MS Word s/w I then go to Review >Spell, Grammar check that it will correct many of my errors; not all but many. Then I move on the bonpatron, which is a true gift for us A2-B1 level people.

A couple of notes.
1. The videos don't work unless ad protection is disabled. I disabled ad-aware on Foxpro and refreshed my browser, but it didn't work. Probably had to restart Foxpro. Not an option, so I went with Chrome, which I don't use with ad protection.
2. Some of the videos require membership in myTF1, but it's free and easy to join.

Thanks for the info peeps! Here's my brief experience:

1. The site said (in French) "Sorry, video is not available in your geographic area".
2. Tested with the virtual private network TunnelBear (https://www.tunnelbear.com, which lets you try for free with only 500MB available (it looks like they have a good sale going on, though).
2.5 selected for France as my area
3. Used Google Chrome, and disabled ad-block on that site in particular.
4. Voilà! It could play! :D
5. Will seriously consider paying for a VPN rather than Netflix each month.

There's a series on Arte TV with matching french audio and subtitles:Les Grands Mythes. (you need to select the subtitle version in the video player "version francaise - ST sourds/mal")

I've only watched the first episode, but the series has 20 episodes.

I think Arte uses IP location blocking. I can watch this from the UK, you might not be able to from your location.

The second link (shop) confused me for a second but here's their page for the videos:

Les grands mythes - Les dieux et héros grecs

They upload two episodes every Saturday and so far they've uploaded the first four episodes. I'm sure they'll go through the whole season if you don't want to pay 1,99 € á episode in their shop. Each episode will stay for about two months before being removed. So episode #1 and #2 will be gone on August 3rd.

I find the subject very interesting and will consider recording them for future use.

After reading the recent posts on the Polyglot Gathering, I looked to see if videos of any of the talks were available. They don't appear to be yet, but I did find one from 2015 in french: Cueillez des mots, partout, partout! - Sylvain Lelarge at the Polyglot Gathering 2015

It usually takes months. They are (sometimes? always?) shooting the presentation from two angles, and then someone has to edit the footage. The most recent ones got up in late February (while the last gathering in Berlin was in May a year ago).
