It's a digital library associated with the Alliance Francaise. I believe you're in France, they may be using country IP blocks to show us different things.LesRonces wrote:The Culturethèque library have some of Mr Japrisot's books.
Hi this site looks very interesting - what is it and how does it work ? I can't find an explanation and whenever i click on anything it just takes me to an image of the book and doesn't let me actually do anything with or to it.
In my case, from the UK, I can create an email/password account, and borrow (a limited selection of) eBooks using Adobe Digital Editions reader.Culturethèque is available throughout the UK!
Culturethèque is a digital platform for French cultural institutions abroad allowing you to access downloadable resources or view them online. You can read great French literary classics as well as a large range of different types of French literature, new and old. You can also access French newspapers and magazines, music, talks, concerts, documentaries, comics, kids' books, French for foreign learners, serious games and lots more! Have a look and see what you can find...
EDIT
Sometimes I click on a book within the Culturetheque website, and it sends me to BiblioVox which I think is a digital library for people in France. That might be something you ask about with your local library service there in France.
