T'as raison, Arnaud!

L'acadien me tient particulièrement à coeur.

eBook shops

Sofia mentioned a bookshop in Lille "Le Furet du Nord", browsing their website I noticed an eReader I hadn't heard of "Tea". A web search for that sent me to a review that mentioned some french eBook shops:
The Tea website lists others.

Since this blog post is almost 4 years old, I was wondering if how much is still relevant?

Interesting. I've never come across the Tea eReader. I'm definitely for competition to the Kindle for many reasons. It looks like a nice device.

Recently I spent time comparing eReaders and ended up purchasing the Kobo Aura One, primarily due to it having natural light, and secondarily because I like the Kobo operating system. Natural light is similar to Night Shift on the iPhone, allowing control of the warmth of the color. It is really nice when reading at night, and allows control of the color from a tone similar to the Kindle to very orange. I recommend it for anyone that does a lot of reading on eReaders in low light. Below is a comparison between my Kindle and Aura One at ~75% natural light.

Ok, so this is a totally radical bit of trivia.

I was at the gym today and I checked out the magazine rack and found a magazine that I had never heard of: 192.

Point is that if you check the following link you will find that, yes, the articles are written in both French and English. I never saw that in a magazine before, but here it is and this is the issue I am reading..

https://issuu.com/192magazine/docs/192_magazine__8_issuu?e=10860953/54212233

It is out of Quebec and the bilingual text starts at page 15.

I've just come across a website that looks useful "Une dictée par jour".
