This is Whodathunkitz giving notes on Cebuano in Cebu.

The China Language forum seems to not be taking new registrations, and in any case it's virtually inactive. Here are some "reports from the field" threads from user amhoanna, who has a fairly eccentric writing style that usually requires basic knowledge of Indonesian, Mandarin, and Hokkien to fully decipher. There are more on that forum if you're interested.

Hoklo in Suratthani + Nakhon

Teochew in Southern Thailand

Cantonese in Vietnam

Hoklo on Mindanao

Since this thread was pretty well received, I actually had the idea of making a thread with amhoanna's posts all in one place, including footnotes to the best of my ability. I'll run that idea by the admins.
