Finding and renting an apartment in Paris

Postby Finolia » Tue Feb 27, 2018 11:42 am

Hello there :)
Does anyone know any websites or anything to find and rent apartments in Paris? My mother is planning a stay for 6 weeks and we are trying to find her a place to stay but most of the people don't want someone to stay for less than 3 or 6 months. We tried Lodgis and a nice woman is offering apartments but as soon as we reply "yes, we take it" she says "oh, it's gone" or something similar :|
As a couple of people here already stayed in Paris or maybe know someone there...I thought maybe someone could help us out/ has some advice.
Thank you in advance! :)

An alternative to AirBNB is Homelidays. I have used them several times for renting in France, Greece, Italy...

Thank you both for the recommendations! :)
I had heard about AirBNB before but totally forgot about it and Homelidays is totally new to me. We will look into them and hopefully find something. I already skimmed through and found some interesting objects but my mother is quite picky  :P
