Yes!!!! I will probably go to Vienna before or after or both anyway since I will use that airport and I might as well visit the city. It's a lovely city. (Except for the fact the there is a murder every week and the smartest guy on the police force is a dog.)
It also looks like there will be some kind of tour of Bratislava on the Tuesday before the Gathering, if we want to do that, but that would include other people, of course.
I'm hoping they will arrange hotels for us again. It didn't ask about that on the registration, but maybe that comes later. I'm hoping to stay at the same hotel. It was very convenient to be able to walk.

Bratislava offers numerous options as for hotels, hostels, Airbnb flats etc. (Hostels cost approximately 10-15 EUR per person in dorms, double rooms on Airbnb are about 20-30 EUR per night).
Doesn't seem like they'll be helping out this time round...

Haha the previous time I picked all three kinds of meals, with one meaty and one vegetarian/vegan per day (I participated on two days). All meals have three variants: meaty, vegetarian, vegan. However, you have to opt for one for the whole stay, it is not possible to combine the variants. (A little tip: the vegetarian/vegan queue at the canteen is considerably smaller so there’s almost no waiting time. What about trying out a vegetarian/vegan week for a change? )
Also will be funny if everyone decides to go vegetarian because of the shorter queue

I took vegetarian this time. I'm hoping that results in me getting a few vegetables. Last year, we got maybe three slices of cucumber a day and that was about it for vegetables. My poor tummy didn't know what was going on.

I'll also be going to the gathering again next year, just signed up
I tentatively booked Mari Kiri Penzion, which is 10 minutes by foot from the venue (it'll be a twin or double room - anyone interested in sharing?). I hope this time no emergency accommodation switches will be necessary - that would make the whole trip much more relaxing and fun
Looking forward to meeting you all again (and this time not missing all the forum meetups, I hope )

I'm staying at a friend's, so no need to book accommodation for me.

I'll have to check the financials, but I want to be there!
Also, I bought my food day by day and could decide what I wanted (meaty, veggie, vegan). I think you have to pick just one to make it easier online.
