I'm all packed and ready. I leave super-early tomorrow morning. (Did you know there's a 4:30 in the morning too?!) I'm spending the first night in Vienna, but I'll get to Bratislava sometime on Tuesday in case anyone is around then. I don't know yet what time I will get there though. It depends on my travel-buddy.

I've been watching lectures from last year to get in the mood, so now I'm all excited. I'm also trying to decide which lectures I want to go to this year. It seems like most of the time slots either have nothing that interests me all that much, or several lectures that I wish I could see. It's really hard to choose.

I'm arriving in Bratislava tomorrow! I am in the Hotel Dominika if you want to find me and grab a beer. :) That goes for anyone else too.

Did I miss anything interesting at the kickoff? Had to dry-walk my soaking wet shoes instead after today's flood.

Ok, checked in for flight, bus, hotel what not -- I'll be arriving tomorrow evening and probably catch people at a bar.

I'm staying at a small apartment on Obchodna street about 5-10 minutes form Patio.

Anyone who is here and hasn't found us yet, we want to take a forum group picture right after the official Gathering group picture today at 12:50 in front of the aula. So stick around afterwards.

Don't think we have. Today in a black T-shirt with 'Underground' written on it. Black glasses. Plenty of Scandinavian flags on the map. That's me ;)

Well, it was great!! A lot of fun meeting the forum people and so many participants. Some really great talks. Beer. Laughter. And fried cheese lunch.

Seriously good ideas, discovery of some languages and my motivation batteries are recharged.

And I'm still not putting Esperanto on my list, despite a few people trying to convince me. I think that the best argument I heard was that "the suffix structure could be my Hungarian experience". That actually made sense to me.

Anyway, safe travels and I'm looking forward to future events or meet-ups - I even have a few ideas myself...

Salutons!
