For Films in Spanish, the best site is Filmaffinity https://www.filmaffinity.com
It's like IMDB and you can track, vote, make lists and follow "film soulmates". It's nice to check the stats as well.
There is a translation into English too.

I use Goodreads a lot, you can add me here https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/49634671-luc-a-l-pez

So does this mean imdb should be added to the main list as well? I had no idea you could track your stuff there...

I don't think I've posted in this thread yet...

https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/5152053-carola
https://trakt.tv/users/brilliantyears (where I track movies and series - I'm not sure if trakt.tv has already been mentioned in this thread?)

I used to be very active on last.fm but since the site overhaul a few years ago I've stopped. I still let it track my music automatically but I'm not exactly social on there, so I'll refrain from sharing it :)

For French, I highly recommend SensCritique. This includes books, movies, TV and many other forms of media, and there are lots of well-written user reviews (correct spelling and punctuation, even). There are also user-curated lists of media.

Ah, I like the look of both SensCritique and TraktTV.

My big problem though is I like the history I've accumulated on certain sites (Goodreads, Letterboxd) and I don't want to do the same sort of things on multiple sites (so I don't want to have an account on LibRu and the French equivalent, etc). I have big problems with Amazon, so I'm not really happy with having an account on goodreads, but I don't want to move all my stuff and I don't know which I would pick. It's so easy to just get stuck with whichever you started with.

Actually I'm not sure.... I always assumed you could the same way as in Filmaffinity. Although maybe imdb is only a reference site... by the way you can use FilmAffinity as a reference site as well without signing up just to get new films and TV series suggestions.

As I've mentioned on my log, I am now going to abandon my GoodReads account. I am going to replace it, probably with a French one - I guess with SensCritique or Babelio. I like the fact that I could also add stuff I watch with SensCritique, but otherwise don't really know which would be best. Does anyone have any suggestions?
