Anyone know what Pamonha de Carimã is? More specifically what is Carimã in English and does anyone know where to get some in the UK?

Hello!
Although I am not a cook, Carimã is an indigene Brazilian word for a product derived from manioc/cassava. Precisely, Carimã is a flour that you can obtain after a process of manioc destillation (Sorry about my bad English :))
Pamonha is a corn-based product, very delicious.
Well, I missed so much my vacations in Minas Gerais eating pamonha... :)
I hope this may help you.

carimã is a regional food I had never heard about. googling suggests it is better known as "puba". you leave the manioc fermenting underwater for ten days, then make a mass with it.
