Hi Julie! Hope you can make it! Last year, there were some last-minute sign-ups (even a few days into the event).

By the way - how many forum members are coming? Rdearman, Iversen, BrunUgle, myself... What about vm_nm and Yuurei? Last year we talked about having an informal meetup in the registration hall at 8PM either of two evenings. Any thoughts? I'm sure we'll all bump into each other at some point, but still, time flies, and all of a sudden the weekend is over.

Yes, let's meet up. I'm getting there on the third and leaving on the tenth, so I might be available for something before or after the Gathering too, if there's anything happening.

Cool, I'm up for that. :) But surely out of 350 people, it isn't just us going from the forum?

I agree, I'd have expected more people from here to go.

Cool! If people want to meet up, that's great! The previous years, I met members I immediately recognized, members whose nicknames I knew and members I had never heard about. And some forum members probably never met me. It's easy to think that you're going to chat with everyone else, but you'll see new faces each day. There's probably going to be more of us (including members from the good old HTLAL). Some visit the event under cover. 8-) Anyway, hopefully you'll recognize me and Iversen.

I've been told I'm 38th on the waiting list... doesn't look very optimistic. Hence the post, to improve my (limited) chances. Hope I can make it!

An informal meet-up would be great for sure!

The full programme is now out! :D

(There was no e-mail, or anything, so I thought maybe other people don't stalk the Gathering website day and night would like to know.)

Yes, I've already seen it. I leave a week from today. Feeling a little nervous and very excited.

Any thoughts on when we are going to meet up? I'm looking forward to meeting all of you.

The first lecture should be "How to split yourself into three parts so you can attend all the lectures at once."

The first lesson should be: read the dates for your reservation at A&O while you do your reservation - don't wait for the final program, and don't forget to check the exact dates on the front page of the site! I have just discovered that my assumption that the show would end Monday like last year was dead wrong - it starts Wednesday and ends Sunday, so now I have to cancel a hotel reservation in Stralsund Wednesday and book one more night at A&O. But apart from that I'm happy with the program - there will be a lot of interesting things to listen to. And I'll of course participate in a 'forum member meeting' if we can get that organized.
