Yes. I wish the best for everyone, but most especially for forum members who may be affected.

I share Obama's words: "An attack on all of humanity and the universal values that we share".

This one hits pretty close: places I've been, friends and friends of friends who've lived in those neighborhoods, friends who were out in Paris that night, my Alliance française classmate who is visiting and was in the Stade de France, other AF students in Paris right now (I think the Alliance has gotten in contact with all of them), a girl who died who was part of the same exchange program I did (Cal State Universities through the North American exchange Micefa), Nohemi Gonazalez (I can say that all of those exchange students become really close - they come over before the school year begins, are housed together in a hostel while looking for apartments, take an intensive French class together, and many often end up as roommates and in the same classes in French universities), the band FAUVE played at the Bataclan so much they've referred to it many times as their home, Feu! Chatterton and Grand Blanc also opened for them there (I saw the same line up in Montreal), as well as many other bands and now the music world is learning about crew and music journalists who were lost. And it's upsetting to know that when/if I ever go back to visit people will act like I'm visiting a warzone.
