Please vote for the book you would like to read in April. The book’s original language is indicated in brackets in the poll, they have all been widely translated so you should be able to read it in most TLs.

Am doing the Italian version "L'ombra del vento".

I've voted for "Shadow of the Wind", en français, "L'ombre du vent".

Sorry if I bother someone, but El quijote in one only month? (about 1.300 pages or so)

People can suggest and vote for what they want (and if it takes longer for us all to read it, that’s the benefit of it being a forum! But yes, I am a little nervous about it!

I voted for Shadow of the Wind. I'm going to pass on the others.

I voted for La sombre del viento. I hope it's doable for me. It seems daunting: Over 500 pages and I just read someone's comment on Amazon that the book isn't an easy read. I should start now to get a headstart, but I'm still stuck in a Dan Brown novel.

For Book Club purposes, I'd probably only recommend the first book of Don Quijote - about 450 to 500 pages. It's still a lot, though.

I also chose L'ombra del vento. I don't usually like translations from English to Italian but it might not be so bad from Spanish to Italian.
