Thanks for starting this thread. I am sometimes busy with visitors, but other weeks I have lots of free time to help out programming here. My availability will thus be "spiky". :)

I've worked at 2 startups and 2 of the major software companies (3 if you include internships...) since 2007. My experience:

Used professionally:
  • Ruby on Rails
  • Python
  • Javascript (esp. jQuery)
  • Java
  • C#
  • HTML & CSS
  • *nix
Can hack around with:
  • PHP
  • Perl

Intros!
I'm an ex-web marketing director managed ex-Yahoo! for Physicians in France and Germany. While I have relatively limited formal education in IT - I've led or been the business lead for basically a lot of web projects from CMS, eTraining, federated content to medical-level encryption.

Oh, and I've been developing software of one type or another for 20 yrs. I've also developed and admin'ed a vBulletin forum for many years.

My hands-on experience, can hack about with:
  • Javascript
  • PHP, Python, Perl
  • Various languages from Fortran to C++ (and things no longer alive!)
  • HTML & CSS
  • SQL
  • XCode - I've recently developed a few apps for iOS.
