I just realised I was about to write some Ainu to the 6WC but... there's no tag  What do you all think, should I just tag it as #multilingual ...?

I'm going to be way too busy next week to actually make a halfway video, so here's what I've got so far:

I realize now that I'm wearing the same shirt in both of my language videos.

It's only been 3 weeks???? This might be the longest I've consistently stayed in one of these challenges. I'm motivated to finish it. All thanks to doing it in a small group with the same language.

I had to take a day out today. Too burned out to do any languages. Picking it up again tomorrow.

We're coming up on one week left in the challenge--ends next Tuesday night.

I'm finding since I'm pushing conversation and production that I'm putting in less time, but working harder and learning more. So certainly won't win, but I'm happy with my progress.

How is everyone else doing with the challenge?

Almost flamed out due to travel, other commitments and stress. But I'm back in for the last week.
If I complete 30 hrs, I'll be satisfied. Suggests a sustainable A2 after a year of study.

I'm doing well! I've been putting in time pretty consistently and I feel like I'm actually making progress. I think next time I'd focus a bit more on specific skills though. The last two weeks I'm focusing on speaking and pronunciation.

Already looking ahead to the next 6WC. I'm a little addicted  I definitely intend to log all my language learning hours that time around though. I completely skipped on logging Japanese, German, etc. I also kind of want to focus on Ainu for the next challenge (even though it's impossible to put in a lot of hours). Does anyone know who I should contact about adding a language tag for Ainu?

The motivation and sense of progress really started coming around the third and fourth weeks. I wish that I had more varied things to listen to but I'm happy to really drill in this textbook.

I barely touched Cantonese between the last 6WC (ended in June) and arriving in Hong Kong two days ago. I'm clearly better than I was before that 6WC started - my progress faded, sure, but there's quite a bit that I remember well. That gives me hope that the progress I'm making with Vietnamese won't go anywhere, even if I end up only getting in 30 hours or so.

I am happy with my progress. I have been in the same place (#17 or #18) most of the time.

My TL of Russian has only occupied 51% of my study time, but I am OK with that. I also took a three week MOOC in Dutch during this interval, and I don't dare neglect Danish too much. The total hours tell me that I average about 8 hours per week, and I think that I can actually do much better than that. The data that I get from my tweets is really useful, but I am weary of tracking. I think I could get used to the 6WC cycle, and enjoy it.

I guess you could ask Judith @GermanPolyglot. She runs the bot, but she tends to be very busy, so I don’t know if she’ll want to bother for a language that is so rarely studied. I suppose it depends how difficult it would be to add it.
