I've created a twitter account, but how does the bot know how to match my twitter and forum accounts?
I've tweeted @langchallenge I'm going to #register and study #German for the Language Challenge. Am I doing it right?
So, now I can tweet separately:
@langchallenge Just #read 20 pages
@langchallenge Just #read 30 pages
the bot will add those up to a book?
Sorry if those are silly questions, I'm unfamiliar with the platform, and couldn't find the answers

Those tweets need a language to work. Also it's nicer for yourself if you also include a title in quotes, e.g.:
@langchallenge #read #german 20 pages "Der Fliedermaus, ch 1"

Actually you don't have to define the language in each post, if you signed up for only one language.

I went back to the bot's page, and see nothing more recent than 13 Aug 2017 under "Tweets" and nothing more recent than Jan 25 under "Tweets & replies."

Confused.

For me, it's working. The bot doesn't anwer but it's registered on the site.

What site are you looking at?

I'm looking at https://super-challenge.language-learners.org/ and still seeing the old challenge.

I thought that too, but on a second look both challenges are there at the moment.

I sincerely hope that you are wrong, because that would be a very bad thing. What makes you think both challenges are there? The bot should only be talking to the new database and the old website should be talking to the old database entries for last year..

I have looked into the database and the tweets are being processed into the new DB, you just can't see them yet because we haven't managed to reconfigure the website.

OK, haven't managed to get into it, and I'm departing for the weekend shortly, so looks like it will be next week before I can get it all fixed. Sorry folks.

The bot isn’t replying to anyone, so you won’t see anything on Twitter.

Wow. Just saw the graphic in post #2 (was it there before? Don't remember seeing it) and am surprised Youtube audio less than 10 min doesn't count. The vast majority of my "films" for Esperanto are podcasts (pola ret-radio mostly), but I also watch some Youtube guys like Evildea and his episodes are short, on the order of 3:00 to 4:00 each. Not much else out there and no I'm not gonna watch that horrible Shatner movie 100 times.
