Language: Spanish
Challenge: full
Current level: Somewhere in the high A's / low B's. I can't read very well at all, lot's of looking up words. My listening skills are better than my reading, I can understand some TV/Netflix series and can follow podcasts pretty well as long as the vocabulary isn't too specialised.
Comments, links: My log is here. I am pretty good with listening/watching on a regular basis so the "films" shouldn't be too much of a problem. I REALLY want to improve my reading and so I am going to push myself to complete the reading part of this challenge. I have lots of Spanish books in the flesh and on my Kindle and so I have no excuse not to complete it. I do not have a twitter account and so I will be keeping track of my progress on my log. Good luck everyone

Language: Japanese
Challenge: full
Current level: N4/N3
Comments, links: Lurked on HTLAL and then here for years. Decided to create an account for the SC. It'd be nice if there was a web-based form instead of a twitter bot, though. I've been working on increasing reading and listening lately alongside some N3 exam-prep materials, but this will be the first time I actually track the amount read and watched/listened to.

Challenge: (full, half, double) Full
Current level: A2-ish
Comments, links: My first time doing the challenge. I've read all of one full book in Spanish so this will definitely be a step up, but I'm keen to get past my current 'easily discouraged' stage and start enjoying my Spanish reading a lot more.

Language: French
Challenge: Full
Current level: A2/B1. Long time false beginner/beginner
Comments, links: A little doubtful I can do this, but I intend to do my best. Long time lurker on the old site and this, and I appreciate the community that's been built here. First time doing a challenge, and I'm excited. Primary sources will be YA novels (I have all of Harry Potter audio and ebook, and others) as well as Netflix.

Re: Super Challenge registration thread
Language: Russian
Challenge: Half
Current level: Solid B1. I think that in terms of a large number of B2 descriptions, I could be at B2, but I definitely can't understand big chunks of films. So I am hoping that this will push me into that.
Comments, links: I didn't manage the reading section last time, but my reading has improved a lot so I am hopeful that I can at least do the half this time. I managed the film last time but only just and I will no longer be studying film, so I'm a little bit worried about that.
Language: French
Challenge: Half
Current level: B2
Comments, links: I really enjoyed the last Super Challenge and pretty much feel that it is how I got the DELF B2 exams I did. Hopefully this will push me a bit more into the C1 range. However, last time the majority of what I counted was translations, so this time I will only be counting native content.
Language: Spanish
Challenge: Half
Current level: Long since forgotten. I don't think it will take too much to pull it back to B1, but we'll find out soon.
Comments, links: At the end of May, I can do Spanish again! So exciting! Because I want to see how this goes (and because I have the native content target for French), I'm going to count this separately from French, rather than doing a romance full challenge.
I can't do anything (except Russian) until June, so I will be starting a little late for French and Spanish. I'm not really sure what will happen after that (fingers crossed I get a job) so I'm only signing up for half challenges, to allow for plans to change. If I manage them, I can always aim higher.

Re: Super Challenge registration thread
Ok, this is going to look a bit crazy, but here goes:
Focus:
Language: French
Challenge: full
Current level: B2 reading, B1 listening (dialang)
Comments: I came very close last time, so this time I'm feeling confident. Five days into the challenge, I'm off to a good start with 2.5 "movies" and three "books"
Language: Russian
Challenge: half
Current level: maybe A2
Comments: After a year of grammar, grammar, grammar, I now feel very ready for some proper literature. I'll be reading on kindle, and working with the vocabulary on the side.
Language: Swedish
Challenge: full
Current level: passive level maybe C1 (through being Norwegian, not through studying...)
Comments: I'll start out reading the course books for the linguistics & literature course I'm attending this summer.
Maintenance:
Language: German
Challenge: half
Current level: B2 or thereabouts
Comments: first project is to finish reading A Game of Thrones
Language: Italian
Challenge: half
Current level: B1?
Comments: I'll probably start with the three first Harry Potter books, which I already have
Language: Ancient Greek
Challenge: half
Current level: advanced
Comments: I'll probably do just the reading for this one.
Language: Latin
Challenge: half
Current level: intermediate
Comments: I did Latin last time too, and I didn't get very far (well, around 10 books, I think). But what I really got going with (as usual) was buying books, so there's really no excuse
Unofficial:
Language: Norwegian
Challenge: Half/half nynorsk/bokmål
Current level: native
Comments: In the case of nynorsk, I need to read more of it. In the case of bokmål, there are some books I simply need to read. This will be works of fiction only (audiobooks included).
Language: English
Challenge: half
Current level: semi-native, probably C2 (at least reading/listening)
Comments: Again, there are some works of literature on my to-do list. Also, I haven't been reading much in English lately, since I started studying French and Norwegian at the University.
Experimental:
Language: Japanese
Challenge: half
Current level: A1
Comments: I don't see myself reading 50 books in Japanese, but maybe I can manage 50 movies. And if I read anything, I'll be sure to tweet that too...
Language: Turkish
Challenge: half
Current level: A1
Comments: same as Japanese
Language: Sami
Challenge: half
Current level: A1
Comments: same as Japanese, except I'll probably mostly be watching TV (news and children's programs)
Language: Portuguese
Challenge: half
Current level: this is a bit like Swedish: I never really studied it, but I can read a book anyway (though not as well as in Swedish)
Comments: If I can find the time for it, I would like to do some coursebook studying together with reading and watching.

Challenge: Full
Current level: A2/B1
Comments: I'm hoping to be a finisher/winner this time around so hopefully life won't get in the way and my French can get the boost it needs to move me into at least a solid B1.
The nosey side of me is looking forward to having a browse of everyone's record table to see what you have read and watched for motivation and inspiration.
Good luck to everyone taking part!!

Re: Super Challenge registration thread
I'm a few days late, but I'm signing up now all the same!
Language: Māori
Challenge: half
Current level: beginner (I started two days ago)
Comments, links: I've chosen the half challenge because there isn't much Māori material found online that I can watch/read. I guess I'll be reading "The Butterfly's Journey" a few times...
