LANGUAGE: Spanish

CHALLENGE: Writing only

CURRENT LANGUAGE LEVEL: A2...who knows?

WILLING TO CORRECT LANGUAGE: Happy to correct English in exchange for correction of my awful Spanish writing.

COMMENTS: Officially writing only but I shall be attempting the speaking part unofficially, as my iTalki lessons do not count since they're not recorded and I will also be reading/speaking out-loud but again this will not be counted as it won't be recorded. Hope it's OK to have an "unofficial" progress bar for unrecorded speech outside of the official challenge or is that very frowned upon?

You can make progress bars for whatever you want. Some people have dozens of them.

CHALLENGE: Writing only

CURRENT LANGUAGE LEVEL: (still) B2

WILLING TO CORRECT LANGUAGE: Yes, German. Just let me know :)

COMMENTS: Last year I was so sure that I would complete at least the written part but no... 50% written, 25% spoken. During the year I noticed how hard it is to record everything. I will therefore only participate in the "writing challenge" this year although I will try and speak more - just without recording it. I'm confident that it will work this time ;D

CURRENT LANGUAGE LEVEL: (Almost) Complete Beginner

WILLING TO CORRECT LANGUAGE: Yes; English

COMMENTS: Since I'm learning from a textbook rather than a source that focuses on speech drills, this ought to remind me to practice my production.

LANGUAGE: Korean

CHALLENGE: writing challenge

CURRENT LANGUAGE LEVEL: Beginner

WILLING TO CORRECT LANGUAGE: English, Dutch. But how does this work?

COMMENTS: I'd like to participate even though my writing skills are quite bad. But how does this challenge work? Do we post our writings somewhere so other participants can look at it and correct it? Do we keep count somewhere publicly in the meantime or only count at the end of the challenge?

I'm going to attempt to use Hellotalk, blogging and maybe twitter. Will probably not make 5k because I really cannot see myself writing every day. But every bit counts

We are very relaxed in this challenge, mostly because the guy wgo started it was lazy. But you keep your own score. We do like people to give us some updates on how they are doing from time to time, but progress bars are always good. There should be a Twitter bot, but that guy is too lazy to do one.
