If you were managing to study French and do all of the things Tom is getting up to, you would have to own a time machine!

This is a short story from my very first Danish round with Clozemaster:

Tom kom for sent til det sidste tog og måtte tage en taxi hjem – Tom missed the last train and had to take a taxi home.
Tom var deprimeret, Tom var nedtrykt. ”Hvis jeg var en rig mand…” - Tom was sad. “If I was a rich man…”
Vær ikke sådan en gnavpotte! – Don’t be such a curmudgeon!

Have you heard?

Tom left Mary and went to live with another woman.

Tom wondered why Mary was angry.
Tom Mary’nin neden kızgın olduğunu merak ediyordu.

They think that Tom must have killed Mary and then killed himself.

I have a few I came across in Clozemaster Icelandic, all in one session today.

  • Tom var ekki einn. / Tom wasn't alone.
  • Var Tom sama? / Did Tom mind?
  • Fer Tom, líka? / Is Tom going, too?
  • Hvar er Tom í dag? / Where's Tom today?

Ooh, how ominous.

Let's see how many more I can find.

I tried doing this for Korean. Haven't found Tom yet, but I found his buddy Jim.

Jim said that it was time to go home.

Wait! Here's Tom. He's being very mean.

Tom wouldn't let them in.

Tom's girlfriend was angry at him.

''그녀의 시선을 등 뒤에서 느꼈다.'' I felt her eyes at my back.'' Is what Tom said.

I wonder how this story will end?

And if the Korean given by Clozemaster is actually correct. There were a few sentences I wasn't sure of, but maybe that's just because I'm not advanced at all.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
