Just looked at your tags and I'm impressed, most of what you do is stuff where I need to force myself to do it. Just thought I could justify my being a good 6h behind by saying that I'm still mostly at formal study stage, but I guess that doesn't work :D But then we were having miraculously good weather for February!

Owl oh owl, why are you so hard to overtake? What have you been up to?!

I just wanted to beat you for once. :D But there's still plenty of time. The owl might get tired of flying.

Or she might fly to 2nd place! You're speeding, owl!

Just wait until I get healthy again and stop spending so much time sitting on the couch.

It looks like we're almost halfway through this challenge, so it's time for a quick update. In my usual hare-like style, study hours have been all over the place. I've racked up almost 10 hours and 400 leafy green words in a single day, only then to sit back on my cottontail behind in the lazy shade of a banyan tree for several days in a row; I guess I'll need to work on consistency. Nevertheless, I'm really glad I chose to learn sign language for the 6WC this time around, as I've made good progress up to this point (averaging 2 hours on target language a day), and am having a lot more fun in the process than anticipated. How's everyone else getting on so far?

My results are literally worse than ever. Partly because there isn't much I want to or can study at the moment, and partly because there've been things in real life to handle.

Btw, I'll be without my computer for about 10 days early March. I'll be logging my minutes on paper and then uploading them after, unless it gets too tedious.

I've been studying really consistently, doing my Russian Assimil, Duolingo and Clozemaster each day and also read some graded readers. Now I switched to reading native material and after a few days of feeling like in Latin class I just had a breakthrough today! First time I managed to do intensive reading for more than an hour without developing a headache or getting bored. Watch out everyone, this one is a page turner :D

Bwahaha, I'm at 34% of my 6WC recorded time being in my supposed-target language. Oh well! I'm still getting more language study in than I had been in a while. :P

Only 13 more days to go :D How's everyone doing?

I'm making a lot of progress--in my opinion, anyway--and if I can step up working in my workbooks and get in a chunk of time everyday reading my fiction book and watching something on tv--I should be in really good shape by the end of the challenge.

Of course I said the same thing during the last challenge.....

I'm doing alright. I never seem to get through all the stuff I want to get through in a day though. Still, I'm pretty happy about my progress and also that I'm putting in a lot of "real" study time this time. I've made good progress through my various FSI courses and I'm nearing the end of the Assimil passive wave.
