What was weird with mine was that they didn't look like they'd been replied to, but the times were included in my totals. I actually deleted one because I was going to send it again, but I looked at my graph first and it had already been included.

Before rewriting the tweets which haven't been replied, I always check my stats, and I never saw them included...

I've been a good girl, eating my spinach, and doing my speaking practice :P I've done so much it's become my largest activity, taking up 35% of my time. First time ever!

It's mostly Dutch speaking, and reflects the fact that I'm nearing the end of my Dutch studies (textbooks then input then output). I hope I can keep it up :ugeek:

Have you looked at your charts, too? Take advantage of them!

I've been a good girl too, revising grammar for my intensive reading + starting on my SC reading part. Early days, so I'm still at the "decrypting" stage, rather than actual reading. Baby steps, baby steps!

How do you get the breakdown like that? I've been using #Anki and #LifePrint hashtags but I don't see any way to view subcategories of my #ASL studies.

My post of today with a ":" wasn't accepted after half an hour (and it didn't show up in the statistics). So I deleted it and repeated it with a "-" instead of the colon. This post was replied to after an minute. Yesterday's post (without a colon) was also almost instantly accepted. Strange :?:

I think you can only get a breakdown for tags in general not tag by language - go to Study time by Tag. You can theoretically extract that data manually by hovering your cursor over the bar graph, but that's a little tedious I guess. I agree, it would be useful to have it separated by language.

Well, just leave out the : then. It might well wreak havoc on whatever method is used to parse the tweet.

But only after I tested out twitter / the bot in order to find the reason for this behaviour.

What do you mean with the parsing? Can I change it by myself? I never used twitter before ...

Parsing is to take a string of characters and identify where one word ends and the other starts. We do it automatically, but a computer needs a bit more help in doing that. Depending how this computer program takes apart your tweet, there might be problems if you use certain characters which it doesn't expect. Humans are great at dealing with the unexpected, computers are not. It probably doesn't expect anyone to use the ":" Might well be that other characters don't work either. And no, you can't do the parsing for the 6WCBot :D In fact, the bot is there so that you don't have to do any of the statistics yourself and just tweet what you've done.

And generally nothing to do with the 6WC reflects on twitter in any way, the bot is only a program running on twitter instead of your home computer. Twitter is just a way of interacting with the program.
