Ok so I have hit a bit of an obstacle. I plan to write the majority of my 'novel' by hand, which is all well and good for me, but then how am I supposed to submit my word count, etc. if I have nothing to copy and paste into Nanowrimo.org?

Oooh excellent! Thank you for pointing that out. It seems they've thought of everything. :D

Well, November 1st is almost here (in the UK at least) and I'm a bit scared about starting, to be honest. How is everyone else feeling?

I'll probably start writing sooner or later... how is it going for the rest of you?

Woop, well done! I got started too and I got to 460ish words last night before bed. I've got today off work so I'm at about 800 now. I'm not sure if I'll get to the over 3,200 words I need to have at the end of today to catch up but I'll give it a good go, working around all the chores I have to do as well today, of course.

Thank you so much for your belief, but maybe you should believe in someone else. I got to 1,610 words this afternoon, and at this point, I don't want to write any more.

Maybe I'll pick my pen back up when my family is in bed tonight and I can focus a little better, who knows...

I have to say aswell that the quality of what I've written so far is absolute trash  In the spirit of NaNo, I'm resisting the temptation to edit anything, but still, my wording is SO "calque-y" and Spanglish it's not even funny.
