I’ve decided to change my challenge in German to the Germanic language family instead, so that I can potentially do some Swedish for the challenge too. My Swedish is currently somewhere between non-existent and A1. I’m not sure yet, but I may also do a little Portuguese (A0) for my Romance Languages challenge, which I didn’t mention when I signed up for that.

You can track your progress either here or on the twitter bot. If you use the twitter bot it will show you progress against others, although I must stress this isn't a completion against each other, but against yourself. But the twitter bot does make recording progress easier.

I withdrew from Tagalog. I still watch at least an hour a day of TV in Tagalog, and speak it frequently, but I haven't been logging things since I haven't been doing anything extra.
I need to concentrate on my Family-Romance challenge during study time.

LANGUAGE: German
CHALLENGE: Full
CURRENT LEVEL: B1

LANGUAGE: Dutch
CHALLENGE: Half
CURRENT LEVEL: Beginner

COMMENTS: Wayyyy too late to this challenge, but I'm very new to the language community (despite not being new to language learning itself), so I've just found out about this. I'm not going to upload anything for Dutch anytime soon, as I'll be starting learning it by late June.

I'm converting my single Super Challenges in Spanish to Double Challenges! I think I can finish in time.

Salut, I'm joining in the insanity~

LANGUAGE: Français

CHALLENGE: Half, starting at the halfway point :^)

CURRENT LEVEL: Intermediate

COMMENTS: I was inspired to start a little bit of a film challenge(just 25) on my own when I learned about the Super Challenge...now I want to join to see what it does for me. I've seen 18 french films so far. I suppose I will try to get past 50 for films, but for books I'm sorely lacking. Or, rather, I'm right on schedule to start this: I've only read L'Étranger (it was 100 pages though, so I guess that's 2)

Bon courage à tous !

I actually finished a French SC last summer without registering here, but since I keep updating my goals, I might as well do it properly!

LANGUAGE: French
CHALLENGE: Double
CURRENT LEVEL: B2 passive now, started out as a Beginner. Proof that the Super Challenge works wonders 8-)
COMMENTS: I finished an early intensive reading SC with LWT last summer, I'm now on the second SC, which is mostly extensive or semi-intensive with the Kindle.
: 6848 / 10000 French Pages
: 264 / 300 French audio hours

LANGUAGE: Russian
CHALLENGE: Full
CURRENT LEVEL: Beginner
COMMENTS: Early intensive reading to get to a level where I can read extensively.
: 183 / 5000 Russian Pages
: 7 / 150 Russian audio hours

LANGUAGE: Spanish
CHALLENGE: Full Intensive Reading, Double Audio
CURRENT LEVEL: B2 reading, C1 listening
COMMENTS: Intensive reading to improve the precision of my reading comprehension. Audio for fun and accents.
: 113 / 5000 Spanish Pages
: 78 / 150 peninsular Spanish audio hours
: 17 / 150 Argentinian audio hours

Well, that's a lot. Can I make it? I'm ahead with French reading, ahead with French listening and ahead with Spanish audio. I just started with Spanish reading, so I can't quite predict how fast this will be, since I'm likely to speed up over time when I have less words to add to my LWT database. With Russian I will try my best to make the reading goal, but I still read very slowly. Again, hard to predict, since it will get faster over time and I might just get into the story at some point.
