LANGUAGE: Spanish
CHALLENGE: Full
CURRENT LEVEL: around B1-B2
COMMENTS: I'll focus on mainly Spanish tv-series (dubbed or original). The reading part is actually more difficult :D

LANGUAGE: Japanese
CHALLENGE: Half
CURRENT LEVEL: Total beginner
COMMENTS: I'll count 4 anime episodes as one movie since they're each around 20-30 min long. I'll have to focus on children's books for now because.. kanji.

LANGUAGE: English
CHALLENGE: Full, maybe duble
CURRENT LEVEL: C1?
COMMENTS: My level according IELTS is C1, although writing was, and still is, by far my weakest skill. Since I took the IELTS on september 2013. I haven't actually studied english actively (I know, I should have), but I've managed to read and watch TV on regular basis.

LANGUAGE: French
CHALLENGE: Full
CURRENT LEVEL: intermediate
COMMENTS: I've had one year of french classes when I was a teenager and I have dabble it ever since. However last year I set a milestone for my french, when I started to consume native materials. So now I try to read books and news and also watch TV in french as much as I can.

LANGUAGE: German
CHALLENGE: Half
CURRENT LEVEL: beginner
COMMENTS: German is the first languase I try to learn totally on my own. I've never took any classes, so it's a different experience for me. I am still a beginner, but I can watch cartoons and read books made for little children (very little, in fact) and language learners.

The articles are entirely in French. They are accompanied by separate word lists with English translations of key words- but articles 100% French. What do u think?

You could probably count the French words. 250-350 words per page.

LANGUAGE: Icelandic

CHALLENGE: Full

CURRENT LEVEL: Low B2?

COMMENTS: I was impatient at the beginning of the year and decided that I would aim to read 5000 pages before the end of 2017. As my version of the challenge was unofficial, I decided not to sign up. But the reading seems to be going well so far, and it looks like I might manage the official Super Challenge as well. So why not try both?

For the moment I'm going to keep tracking my yearly goal in my signature, but I'm keeping a spreadsheet so it won't be difficult to determine how I'm doing on the Super Challenge as well. (I don't have Twitter so won't be using the bot.)

LANGUAGE: Family Romance

CHALLENGE: Full

CURRENT LEVEL: B2 Spanish, A0 French

COMMENTS: I'm swapping my Spanish challenge for a Family-Romance challenge. I've done about 5000 pages of reading and 5000 minutes of watching/listening in Spanish, mostly before the super challenge started, so I've probably got another 5000 pages and 5000 minutes before I am firmly at the advanced level there. I am experiencing some wanderlust, however, and I want to fool around with French. I'm changing my challenge so that I will be able to count however much French I do.

I moved my Spanish minutes and pages to Family Romance. I'll #giveup on my Spanish in a day or two, once I get all the information out of it.

I re edited to fix embarrassing typos. There are probably more.......
