Registrations for the February 6 Week Challenge are now open and the site has an all-new look thanks to polyglot Adam Scott. This will be so much better than the Twitter bot, which was never accessible to everyone.

If you want to reclaim a user name that you had in the past (on Twitter), write to the 6 Week Challenge bot on Twitter, tell it your email address, and it will send you a password.

The new site looks fantastic! I hope you don't mind, but I've shared it with the languages department at my secondary school. I notice the "How To" page still explains how to do things via Twitter, but if I understand correctly that will not work any more?

Anyway, I've signed up with Hindi as my main language. I'm planning to try to push hard to make progress in Assimil Hindi and Assimil German over the next six weeks!

Of course I don't mind, I'm happy for the challenge to become known more widely. The Twitter bot is permanently out of commission because Elon Musk blocked the bot's API access without a warning and with no way to re-activate it. So please tell everyone to sign up through the website and also log their times using the website.

I don't know if @Sprachprofi fixed it or it just changed, but my username has reverted to Jeffers, which is what I signed up to the site with, after switching to jefflehman68 which it had become after I emailed the twitter bot. This is good, thank you!

I have just signed up for this and am thrilled to see that I am currently tied for first place both in the targeted study and overall hours categories! Not sure I will be able to maintain, especially after the 6WC actually starts, but smugly enjoying a taste of 1st place for the moment. Target language Norwegian.
