Ok, ok, I get the hint, guys. I guess I'll officially volunteer now (to start the Russian team) and then later actually convince myself to do something about it.
While continuing my intensive study of Irish (or Welsh) isn't part of my plans for 2016, I can at least be a presence with the Celtic team, le cúnamh Dé.
EDIT: Team thread is here.

Re: TAC sign-up
Is there any interest in a Romance language TAC group? I noted I was interested in French and Spanish, but I was really more interested in a combined Romance languages group rather than doing two separate teams.

Re: TAC sign-up
Please can I sign up with Russian and Croatian
I'm assuming there isn't enough interest for a BCMS team, but if anyone else would join one (or a Slavic-languages-that-aren't-Russian team??) let me know!

I know the non-Russian slavic languages tend to keep their distance for various reasons. That said, if there isn't a BCMS team or "other slavic" team, I'd personally welcome discussion of all slavic languages on what is already set to be a smaller TAC team than usual.

I'm interested in general Romance and Slavic teams, but I don't have the energy to be the leader now

Re: TAC sign-up
I'll be studying French, Dutch (middling motivation) and Spanish (starting from scratch) and would love to be on those teams respectively. (I've joined "Les Voyageurs")

Re: TAC sign-up
OK, so it looks like Team Wanderlust is going to be a real thing this year, and with tomgosse's encouragement, I'll go ahead and lead (though I'd be delighted to have any co-leader who'd like to step up and help out). I'm off to create a thread for us now.
So if you're feeling the itch, set yourself free to explore the world, and come join us on Team Wanderlust!
