Hello everyone.

I'm new to this blog and very excited to start!

Can I register for a particular Arabic dialect?
If so, I'd like to. This is for Egyptian Arabic starting from the 29th of January.

Hello! I'm also new to the forum. Please sign me up for 1x generic.

I'll be rotating between Latin, ancient Greek and Biblical Hebrew.

Edit: Forgot to say - I intend to start on 1 February!

I've also decided to withdraw from the challenge. The year started off great, but sadly I can't handle this extra commitment right now. I'm glad I joined for the first bit though, because I am much more motivated to do some learning on a regular basis! Just maybe not 30 minutes every day ^^"

Now that forum pages are loading with some regularity again, I am posting to withdraw from the 2022 challenge. I had hoped it would be motivating -- and in January it was -- but now, in the thick of the semester, it's more stressful than motivational.

Someone told me you want to quit?

Luca Brasi will around shortly to apply additional motivation in the form of negative motivation. Motivation to avoid the pain.

Actually there can be many, as we've seen. But I'd like to be the One. Maybe at the end of the year I'll be one of the Ones.

So, if I'm understanding the first page correctly, I can still join, right?

I'd like to join on April 26, which will give me exactly 250 days until the end of the year. I'm doing German, and just getting back into daily work, but I like the goal of trying to hit exactly 250, so I'll starting counting then.

Will this work for the challenge?

I just posted a zero for June’s study days. It was tempting to withdraw, but I’d rather continue and aim for no more zero days in 2022. My days for June were not actually zero, but I stopped all my tracking at the end of May so I have no idea how many legit study days I had in June. I forgot to make a May post so I just incorporated my 24 tracked May days into my total.

I think I have the lowest total (136) on the scoring board, lol. I was consumed with all kinds of life events from the end of May until now. I think (hope) things have settled down enough for me to get serious again. I plan to resume my studies TODAY. Onward!
