I also have the same sort of experiences, except I've never bothered to undo. Obviously my theory about the daylight savings time being the culprit is wrong, then. Maybe there's something wrong with how the yesterday tag works? I can't remember any of my other tweets being registered on the wrong day.

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - 2021
Rule and Authority is that the 6WC starts and ends according to the participant's timezone, not the bot's.
The bot includes leeway and includes minutes tweeted on ITS days -1 and 43 and maybe more. So minutes tweeted on and shown as April 30 WILL be included in your total score.
The bot's timezone as in OP was confirmed before, I just don't know if it has changed. No idea about the daylight savings bit, though. Experienced participants may like to help test it out.
The "yesterday" and "undo" bits could just be bugs. The bot has done weird things to me like changing READING numbers when I undo LISTENING, etc.

Thanks for clarifying. Sorry again, I didn't mean to create a problem where none existed.
Good luck and good progress to everyone in the challenge!

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - 2021
I did a test just now. I'm on Central European Time and daylight savings time, and I sent two tweets to the bot at 20 past midnight (May 3), one using "yesterday" and one not. The first one was registered on May 1, while the second one was registered on May 3. Will try again later today and see what happens then.

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - 2021
Sent a new tweet at 5:15 a.m., using yesterday, and it now registered on May 2. Maybe "yesterday" is still on winter time, then? I don't think I'll be able to narrow it down any further, because I'm usually at work in that time period.

Thanks for testing.
Maybe server is actually on UTC+1 rather than Central European Time. Radioclare's post Feb 2019 (winter) shows CET/UTC+1: https://forum.language-learners.org/vie ... 20#p133099
Maybe the tag "yesterday" gets processed twice between user and server, as "-1" rather than as a date rightaway.

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - 2021
Maybe for the next round of the challenge the bot could be changed so that users can give their respective timezones when registering?
Or something like that?
Code: Select all
@6WCBot #register #German #timezone #utc+11
Or something like that?

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - 2021
I didn't sign up this time but previously I definitely noticed that the bot was on German time, ie CET in winter and CEST in summer. Haven't checked whether this applies to "yesterday"
