Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - 2021
Forgot to post here when I registered! Not so many signed up so far, hopefully more are just around the corner.
I'm doing Icelandic this time. I'm planning to check out Icelandic Online, do some reading and listening, and use drops, in addition to uni course work

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - 2021
Just registered for Mandarin, 40 minutes until May 1st.
I've been studying Mandarin on and off for a few years. Well mostly off to be honest and it's been on hiatus for >5 years. So I'm basically starting over. My level is currently A0, about 150 words and ~50 characters, I would guestimate.
I started April 12 and have been studying each day since then for a total of 40 hours.

I just registered for Portuguese. I hope by the end of the six weeks to consider myself solidly A1.

I felt like not even bothering, after a long row of failures at this. But I changed my mind.
Signing up with Italian. Current passive level is C1ish, but active skills A2ish, and I speak clearly a hybrid (my Spanish shows a lot)

I changed my target language to Dutch. I wasn't sure if this was possible, but you can indeed change it if you have not yet logged any tweets to the bot. I have a lot of momentum with Dutch at the moment, and I don't want to shift focus. So Dutch it is.

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - 2021
In my timezone it is May 2nd now and I wanted to add some time for yesterday May 1st.
So I made a "yesterday" tweet at the bot at 00:37 hours but it logged the time for April 30th,
according to the website.
A few minutes later I tweeted #undo and then the original tweet again, this time without "yesterday".
Now the website shows the time for May 2nd.
This post is meant as a head-up for anyone who wants to do corrections in the future.
I don't really care about the extra time being logged either for the 1st or 2nd of May as long as it is not April.
But does anyone know the bot's exact timezone?

My impression is that it is on Central European Time in the winter, but doesn't change for summer time

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge - 2021
What I'm referring to is this statistics kept by the bot on the website.
This is what happened to me. My timezone is Central European Time + daylight savings:
I don't know. If the bot is the authority on when exactly the challenge starts and ends then I would day OP is wrong in saying the challenge timeframe is according to each participant's timezone. If OP is the authority then the bot is wrong.
Sorry if maybe I'm being a little anal here but I hope the explanation make sense.

- May 2nd 12:30am: Made a tweet with "yesterday". It showed up as 2021-04-30 in the above table.
- May 2nd 12:35am: Tweeted #undo.
- May 2nd 12:35am: Tweeted again without "yesterday". This time the table entry was 2021-05-02.
