LANGUAGE: French
CHALLENGE: Full Challenge
CURRENT LANGUAGE LEVEL: ?? Somewhere in the B's
WILLING TO CORRECT LANGUAGE: Yes (English)
COMMENTS: I have a huge huge gap between passive/active knowledge in my French and I'd really like to get my output up to a higher level this year. I am a bit shy and have been wavering and waffling over joining this forum & challenge. I used to read over at HTLAL all the time but rarely ever posted. I'm looking forward to participating over here and I think the challenge will really help.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Which boxes are you referring to? Do you mean the progress bars? If so that is in the FAQ. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1792

CHALLENGE: Writing only
CURRENT LANGUAGE LEVEL: A2/B1, maybe?
WILLING TO CORRECT LANGUAGE: Sure, English
Hello, I'm signing up to lose the Output Challenge! I won't be able to complete even a half of the writing challenge, but I would like to up my writing output, so I'm here for the keeping track of my word count and the camaraderie.
A question: Is it okay to count words I wrote in 2016, but before I signed up, toward the challenge or should I start at zero?

Have to start a zero, although I would have let you count anything after January.

I don't understand the second part of this sentence, but I guess the first part means I currently have only the 50ish words I wrote yesterday.

Sorry, actually I was confused. Yes, you can count anything you wrote since 1st Jan 2016.
