LANGUAGE: Spanish
CHALLENGE: Full Challenge
CURRENT LANGUAGE LEVEL: Incredibly rusty B1 (probably closer to A2 as it's been several years)
WILLING TO CORRECT LANGUAGE: Yes: English (I use British English, but can probably squeak by with North American grammar)
COMMENTS: I have no idea whether I'll be able to complete this, as it is incredibly daunting, but it's nice to have another challenge for this year.

Surfing online I found a new tool from Cambridge so that it brought initially all my attention. Allegedly it helps you to improve your speaking skills. Obviously it only works with english language so I guess it is gonna provoke low interest in this forum, but just in case...

https://speakandimprove.com/

It is not magic but it helps you giving material to talk and recording all you are going to talk. And it even assess you. I think it can be accurate giving you your level skills. I am not sure of this point naturally.

Cambridge, in fact, has developed something similar for writing skills

My bars show my progress. I'm slightly behind pace for Italian recording and way behind on Portuguese writing though I should still be able to make it. I need to get going with Italian writing and Portuguese recording. With my recent Portuguese tutoring I'm more confident about my pronunciation which was stopping me before.

LANGUAGE: Portuguese
CHALLENGE: Full Challenge
CURRENT LANGUAGE LEVEL: A2ish though reading is somewhere in the B range
COMMENTS: Recording is problematic because my pronunciation is not so good and I want to make sure I'm speaking correctly otherwise the exercise is pointless.

LANGUAGE: Italian
CHALLENGE: Full Challenge
CURRENT LANGUAGE LEVEL: B2ish for most skills and C1+ for reading
COMMENTS: I need to write in Italian and will again try to get that going in spite of all the failures in past years. I was previously too ambitious but I managed to record just over 35 hours in 2022.

Edit: I mixed my languages up originally and have updated this to Full Challenge for both languages.
